Research

We are currently conducting a research project surveying high school students in Japan and their perceptions of AI as it relates to specific contexts, such as the environment, social media, fashion and so on. In our research, we seek to find:

• whether high school students in Japan align with popular perceptions and definitions of AI

• how they compare to perceptions in different student contexts in other countries, and

• possibilities to propose new measures for assessing AI literacy, given the respondents' perceptions of AI (e.g. knowledgeability, appreciation, technical skill etc.), and more.
