"Hikarizome" is the first collection unveiled by Kanji Kyodai as an AI and digital fashion designer. The collection uniquely interprets traditional Japanese attire and elevates it into the realm of digital fashion. Created entirely in the digital space, the collection utilizes generative AI for material creation, scans of Takeshita Street, and photogrammetry to produce a fashion show that is impossible to replicate in reality. Individual looks from the show have been sold as NFTs, with all 24 looks already sold out. Just one year after purchasing a computer, Kanji Kyoda's vision for the world of digital fashion continues to expand.

Since the age of 15, Kyoda Kanji has used Japanese costumes and anime character design as motifs for his self-expression through fashion. Kyoda hacks contemporary costume design by employing previously unusable materials, and his ability to bring these designs to life is especially evident in the realm of digital fashion. From building his own NFT collection to his use AI and 3DCG for fashion design, Kyoda is entirely self-taught as a programmer and designer. "Hikarizome" is his masterpiece.
